Jimi Hendrix 1970 v2

Looking back its hard to imagine that James Marshall Hendrix professional recording career was only really 4 years long before his untimely death at 27. He is probably one of the most influential guitarists of all time. He played the Monterey Pop Festival, which ended with Hendrix, now famously, lighting his guitar on fire. He also played another legendary musical event: Woodstock, and was the last performer to appear in the three-day-plus festival. Jimi opened his set with "The Star-Spangled Banner" that amazed the crowds and demonstrated his considerable guitar skills. I think he represents that era more than anyone and unfortunately his flame burned out way too soon.

Another strong image that I’ve brought to life with all the colour that he would bring to the stage and his music.
