Jim Morrison

The singer of The Doors and one of Rolling Stone’s readers pick of “Top 5 Best Lead Singers of All Time”, his unexpected death in 1971 put him into the infamous “27 Club”. He liked to live life on the edge and explore his art through drugs and alcohol making his performances unpredictable and erratic. I’ve always been a fan of Jim and The Doors with L.A. Woman and Riders on the Storm as a couple of my go-to Doors tunes on my playlist. Another rock legend gone too soon.

This commissioned multi-media piece is created in acrylic, spray paint pencil, and ink with a resin finish.
