Bad Choices Make Good Stories
Every picture tells a story, doesn’t it?
I had wanted to do something with mugshots for some time now but just didn’t know what to do. Every time I saw a mugshot of a celebrity, I knew there had to be a story behind it. So I started collecting these images and reading the stories of why they were arrested and I was right. Most were DUI or getting busted with weed or coke. Some were fights, some were tax evasion. Some are fake. Some were for being Pablo Escobar and, well, doing all the things the most famous drug lord does. Some appear multiple times (Hi Lindsay Lohan, Jim Morrison, Jame Brown, and Robert Downey Jr.) and most learned their lesson and moved on but some didn’t and aren’t with us anymore.
But I know each and every one of these images has a previous 6 hours and that is where the story is. I gotta say that I’m happy that Robert Downey Jr got his act together and now is one of the highest-paid actors around.
This piece would look amazing in an office, games room, or restaurant and would be a great conversation starter in any room it is hung in.
