Spanish Elvis

I’ve had multiple requests for Elvis covers but have always struggled to find one that really said “Elvis” to me. I feel his 70’s era full of swagger, drugs, jumpsuits, huge jewellery, big hair and even bigger glasses is when he left his biggest impression on culture. Finding covers from different countries has opened up some opportunities and as soon as I saw this one, I knew I had a winner. Problem was that I couldn’t just order one off eBay so I recreated it. This image just says so much. Throwing down his mic after his song and probably karate kicks thrown in there for some excitement too. Often imitated but never duplicated.

This piece is large and will be the conversation starter in any room it’s hung in.

This is done in acrylic, pencil, ink, spray paint, gold leaf, and finished in resin.

Size: 30” x 40” x 2”
